1. Energy & Gas Injection Facility Monitoring

Industry: Gas / Energy Facility

Customer Requirement: The customer needed to monitor whether gas was being safely stored and managed at a gas supply facility. The system had to read differential pressure sensor signals and transfer the data to an external server through Wi-Fi/TCP-IP communication.

PnP IoTs Solution: PnP IoTs supplied the RTU and 4-20mA input modules, and provided technical consultation for integration. The gas management company handled on-site installation and server-side programming.

System Configuration:

  • RTU: PD-AWS-P8 x 1
  • 4-20mA input module: SB0-420 x 5
  • Differential pressure sensor interface: GXPS500PD
  • Communication: TCP/IP server upload

Value Delivered: Pressure sensor data could be collected and transferred to the external server. Operators could check sensor current values and communication status. The project showed how standard 4-20mA industrial sensors can be connected to a practical IoT monitoring system.

2. Forest Recreation Facility CO & Environment Monitoring

Industry: Outdoor public facility / forest recreation accommodation

Customer Requirement: The site initially required carbon monoxide monitoring for visitor safety. Later, the requirement expanded to include temperature, humidity, and CO2 monitoring for accommodation management.

PnP IoTs Solution: PnP IoTs built a LoRa-based wireless sensing system for a forest environment where normal internet cabling was difficult. The system collected environmental and safety data from accommodation units and delivered it to the management office.

System Configuration:

  • RTU: PD-AWS-S8 x 1
  • LoRa Master Module: LC0-M x 1
  • LoRa Slave + temperature / humidity / CO / CO2 sensor: LC0-STMHMCOCO2 x 6
  • Server program: pnpmap
  • Wireless communication distance: approximately 280 m line-of-sight in the installed field condition

Value Delivered: CO, temperature, humidity, and CO2 data were monitored in real time. Wireless LoRa communication reduced installation constraints in a mountain facility. The management office could check sensor operation and environmental status without visiting every accommodation unit.

3. Wireless CO Monitoring for Forest Accommodation

Industry: Forest recreation facility / accommodation safety

Customer Requirement: The customer needed real-time carbon monoxide monitoring in a forest recreation facility where internet access was not available at the sensor installation points.

PnP IoTs Solution: PnP IoTs implemented a LoRa wireless communication system to collect CO concentration and wireless status data. The monitoring screen was configured so that operators could intuitively check CO concentration and communication status.

System Configuration:

Value Delivered: Real-time CO monitoring supported accident prevention in accommodation spaces. LoRa communication made monitoring possible where wired network installation was difficult. The case demonstrated a practical safety monitoring model for forest recreation facilities.

4. Hydraulic Machine Pressure Data Acquisition Consulting

Industry: Manufacturing / hydraulic equipment development

Customer Requirement: The customer was developing large hydraulic machinery and wanted to review whether pressure data could be acquired automatically instead of being recorded manually by operators.

Requested Monitoring Scope:

  • Automatic monitoring of 20 pressure sensors
  • Engine status monitoring through CAN / J1939 format
  • Engine RPM, coolant, voltage, and oil temperature monitoring
  • Factory working environment check using portable monitoring equipment

PnP IoTs Role: PnP IoTs visited the site for consulting and reviewed a system concept for automatic data acquisition and storage. The customer decided to continue manual recording for the current equipment, but discussed applying Plug And Play IoT in the next hydraulic machine development project.

Value Delivered: The case identified how pressure gauges and engine data could be converted into automatic monitoring data. It positioned PnP IoTs as a practical partner for smart factory data acquisition and created a follow-up opportunity for automatic pressure data collection and storage.

5. Fingerprint Module & IoT Access Control Integration

Industry: Custom IoT development / access control

Customer Requirement: The project required integration of fingerprint recognition modules into a controlled storage system. The system had to handle larger data volumes than ordinary sensor data, while maintaining compatibility with the existing Plug And Play IoT data structure.

PnP IoTs Solution: PnP IoTs developed a customized protocol and system configuration for fingerprint data handling, access control, and related environmental monitoring.

Value Delivered: Large fingerprint image data was handled through a custom protocol. RTU, sensors, and access-control modules were combined into one IoT system. The project demonstrated PnP IoTs capability in custom device integration beyond standard environmental monitoring.
